Privacy Policy

The short version

• This marketing site does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
• The NewASO app stores your research locally on your machine.
• Emails you send are used to reply to you, and nothing else.
• We do not sell personal data. We do not run a data business.

This website

newaso.com is a marketing site. It has no accounts, no login, and no tracking pixels. It does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If you choose a theme or another preference in the future, it will be stored in your browser, not on our servers.

The site is hosted by a third-party provider (currently Vercel). Like most hosting providers, it may process standard request logs — such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp — for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. We do not use those logs to build profiles.

The contact form does not submit data to this website. It prepares a message in your own email client. Nothing is transmitted until you press send in that client.

The NewASO application

NewASO is a local-first application. The following data is stored in a local database on your device:

• Projects, app metadata, and store links you add.
• Competitors, keywords, scores, and research history.
• Generated listings, localization sets, and rank checks.
• Settings and API keys you configure in your local environment.

That research data is not uploaded to NewASO. Uninstalling the app or deleting its database removes it, subject to your own backups.

To do its job, the app makes outbound requests to third-party services. Those requests carry only what is needed for the step you triggered:

• Google Play and Apple App Store public endpoints for app metadata, search results, autocomplete, and rank checks.
• Your configured LLM provider (for example, Anthropic) for idea refinement, keyword expansion, listing copy, and icon analysis. Prompts may include your app description, listing text, and keyword data.
• Translation endpoints (such as MyMemory or Google Translate) when you run localization, carrying the listing text being translated.

Those providers process the request under their own privacy terms. Your API keys stay in your local environment and are not sent to NewASO.

Email and contact

If you email hello@mrhaseeb.com, we receive your email address, the content of your message, and any attachments you include. We use that information to reply and to keep track of the conversation. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not sell or rent your address.

We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request or maintain a record of a reported issue. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Third-party services

The website and app rely on services operated by other companies. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies:

• Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
• Google — Play Store data and, where configured, translation.
• Apple — App Store data.
• Anthropic — LLM features configured by you.
• MyMemory — translation for localization features.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those providers. Review their policies before enabling a feature that sends data to them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. Because app research is stored locally, you can exercise much of this directly by editing or deleting your local database.

For data we hold — primarily email correspondence — contact hello@mrhaseeb.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may ask for enough information to locate your request.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we hold. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Your local research data is protected by the security of your own device; keep your disk encrypted and keep your API keys private.

Children

NewASO is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be described on this page.
